Responsibilities
Work closely with researchers, designers, product managers, and engineers to identify, define, and deliver impactful products for Instagrams GENAI initiatives
Independently and collaboratively develop and execute comprehensive research roadmaps that align with product goals and timelines
Lead and manage research studies throughout all phases of the product development cycle-from identifying research needs, designing research plans, conducting studies, to synthesizing and delivering actionable insights
Influence product strategy, execution, and go-to-market planning by providing data-driven insights that guide the development and refinement of GENAI features
Oversee and coordinate with external research vendors to augment the teams capabilities and ensure high-quality research outcomes
Facilitate rapid feedback loops on GENAI prototypes, enabling the team to iterate quickly and effectively based on user insights
Qualification
Required
Former large enterprise employee
Demonstrated ability to independently conduct research projects from inception to completion, including identifying research needs, planning, execution, and insight delivery
Strong ability to activate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, driving alignment and momentum
Extensive experience in designing and executing qualitative research studies, leveraging data to support hypotheses and product decisions
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex findings into compelling narratives for diverse audiences
Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and make informed decisions to balance competing demands
Preferred
Prior experience working with AI technologies, especially in the context of product research or development
Expertise in advanced quantitative research methodologies and analytics
