Responsibilities

Assist Leadership with various activities, including machine reliability RCCA, utility management, Equipment Engineering support and capital expenditures
Assist Maintenance reliability team with RCCA’s and or Operations technical floor support with indirect procurement through ARIBA PO and invoicing support
Identify cost savings opportunities
Use metric development and analytics tools, data mining, pIot edge computing
Help with reporting status of projects, including budget, timeline, and risks or opportunities
Analyze ergonomics/safety throughout Bell facilities
Assist Machine Reliability in the execution of projects to meet uptime goals

Required

Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher with a major in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology required
Minimum 60 credit hours completed by the start of the internship (June 1, 2026) or prior Bell internship experience
Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship: June 1 – August 7, 2026

Preferred

3.0 GPA preferred
Preference will be given to candidates that are rising Sophomore or Junior classification during the 2026 internship
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
Willingness to learn, collaborate with team members, and develop real skills that can be applied to future opportunities
A breadth of knowledge outside of the classroom that can be applied to their work
Previous internship experience with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, or operations emphasis
Interest in machine uptime, repair projects, data analytics & manufacturing experience
The ability to work independently without constant supervision
