Program Manager -- Recruiting and Supervising Mentors
Pathways of the River Valley has provided services to children and adults with developmental disabilities for over 50 years, and they are seeking a Program Manager to help grow these services. The role involves recruiting and supervising Mentors for families, coordinating training, and managing performance issues while maintaining strong relationships and communication with all stakeholders.
Government Administration
Responsibilities
Recruitment and hiring of Mentors for the families
Assisting with finding the right match between Mentor and Family
Processing payroll and mileage
Coordinating required training for Mentors
Working through performance management dilemmas
Identifying and recommending appropriate manager training for families
Qualification
Required
At least 2 years of similar experience that includes supervision of staff
Proven relationship-building skills
Strong communication skills including verbal, written, and interpersonal
Ability and willingness to travel regionally for job fairs, professional meetings, and interviews
Flexible work schedule to meet agency needs
Basic knowledge of various employment laws and practices
Intermediate knowledge and skills with MS Office
Ability to adapt to new software and systems
Reliable transportation
Valid driver's license
Auto insurance
Provide 2 (two) professional references
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in a related field (additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree)
