Responsibilities

SEC & Financial Reporting: Prepare quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K), earnings releases, and investor materials in compliance with U.S. GAAP
Regulatory & Compliance: Assist with financial statements for regulated utilities and employee benefit plans in accordance with DOL and industry regulations
Audit Support & Internal Controls: Coordinate with auditors, support audit requests, and maintain compliance with internal control procedures
Month-End Close & Entries: Prepare elimination entries, reconcile balance sheets, and ensure accuracy across the monthly close cycle
Optimization & Support: Contribute to process improvements, update policy documentation, and assist in training junior staff

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or industry, with preferred exposure to SEC reporting
Excellent communicator with sharp analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt, prioritize, and collaborate under tight deadlines

Preferred

CPA preferred
Experience with Workiva, Blackline, PowerPlan, and SEC reporting is highly preferred
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with additional experience in Workiva, Blackline, and PowerPlan preferred
