Responsibilities
Oversee dining setup, kitchen cleanliness, food presentation, and closing procedures
Oversee the presentation of all food served from the kitchen to residents and guests, ensuring quality and accuracy
Train and supervise servers, participate in hiring, and manage daily staffing
Take meal orders, communicate with dietary staff, and address resident dining concerns
Meet with dietary staff daily to discuss daily specials, always-available menu options, and wine selections
Proactively address resident concerns and ensure their satisfaction with meal service
Qualification
Required
Minimum of two years of food management or food service supervision experience
Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Experience in a senior independent living food service setting
