Director of Advertising and Marketing - Hybrid

Precision Tune Auto Care is seeking a Director of Advertising and Marketing for a hybrid role that involves overseeing marketing programs and daily interactions across multiple company functions. The ideal candidate will manage digital marketing initiatives, advertising agencies, and internal communications while ensuring brand awareness and customer retention.

Responsibilities

Develop and executes strategic and tactical marketing communications programs in a collaborative team environment
Manage marketing firms and ad agencies to develop new creative and marketing programs that improve brand awareness and retail traffic
Manage and lead all company digital marketing initiatives
Oversee development and implementation of all internal communications vehicles, such as print publications, announcements, PowerPoint presentations, web communications and other electronic media
Manage and continually update and develop the consumer website - desktop and mobile versions
Work directly with external vendor partners/web developers for any new programming or website reconstruction
Conduct ongoing website analysis and provide monthly metrics
Continuously work on SEO to improve organic results with both on-site and local listings
Manage company intranet site - Major point of contact for all actions on the site
Set up all accounts, monitor activity daily, provide training/tips, ensure content and contacts are updated, manage front home page messaging to keep it fresh
Work directly with external web developer for any new programming or website reconstruction
Manage and lead the company’s Social Media and content marketing programs including producing content and working with external vendors on creating and implementing strategies for the national business level, as well as the local business level
Manage and develop the Customer Retention Marketing (CRM) program including the postcard and email reminders, the Online Garage and the Smart Phone App
Work directly with vendor partners on metrics and functions
Manage Advertising Agencies/Design Consultants: manage day to day interaction with any external vendors required to help build advertising, marketing, web and PR materials, including managing budgets/time management for each project
Manage In-house Publications
Presentations: write and format, design templates for PowerPoint presentations; presenter for franchise management classes, regional meetings, PMF meetings
Convention/Meetings: key member of convention planning committee, creative direction to all marketing print and digital materials, communication and promotion to ensure attendance, meeting content/agenda, speaker support, on-site production

Required

Minimum of a BA or BS in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business or related field
Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience including a minimum of 3 years of relevant advertising experience and a minimum of 2 years of relevant digital marketing experience
Excellent working knowledge of all advertising mediums- print, TV, radio, outdoor, LSM and online
Thorough understanding of the creative development and print production processes
Able to influence and motivate internal and external resources, work in a team environment and with people at all levels
Exceptional writer with proven ability to develop copy for multiple audiences and applications
Strong strategic communications thinker and problem solver
Ability to handle multiple projects effectively and work under deadlines
Ability to interact with others and to develop programs based on the needs of other departments
Some travel required

Preferred

Franchise Experience Is Preferred
Experience working with databases and database marketing; working with IT/programmers a plus
Previous franchising and multi-unit experience a plus
Experience with software programs a plus: Office, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
