Inside Sales Manager
American Metals Supply, LLC is a rapidly expanding metals distributor headquartered in Tampa, FL, serving the southeastern United States. The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for leading and developing the Inside Sales team to drive revenue growth and improve customer experience within a fast-paced aluminum distribution environment.

Responsibilities
Drive daily sales performance, ensuring the team meets or exceeds revenue, margin, and service goals
Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with market demand in the patio, screen enclosure, and industrial aluminum sectors
Monitor key metrics (quotes, conversion rates, customer retention, product mix) and provide actionable feedback
Support pricing decisions and margin management based on market conditions
Lead, mentor, and coach Inside Sales Representatives through regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and skill development plans
Provide ongoing training on product knowledge, selling techniques, CRM usage, and customer service expectations
Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture with strong communication and customer-first values
Identify opportunities to improve quoting accuracy, order entry quality, and overall sales workflow efficiency
Partner with operations, purchasing, and outside sales to streamline processes that enhance customer experience
Ensure consistent use of CRM and sales tools to improve pipeline visibility, forecasting, and reporting
Lead initiatives to improve response time, increase operational accuracy, and elevate service levels
Engage with key customers to support relationship-building, resolve escalations, and understand changing needs
Support new business onboarding and work closely with Outside Sales on joint opportunities
Ensure customer issues are addressed quickly and effectively, strengthening long-term partnerships
Maintain strong knowledge of patio products, extrusion profiles, aluminum components, and industry applications
Monitor competitor activity, customer trends, and market shifts to support sales strategy adjustments
Collaborate with purchasing and product teams to understand stock levels, lead times, and new product opportunities

Qualification
Required
5+ years of inside sales or customer service experience, preferably in building materials, aluminum distribution, construction supplies, or related industries
2+ years of supervisory or team-lead experience required
Strong understanding of quoting, order entry, and sales workflows; ERP/CRM experience preferred
Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to drive sales performance and improve processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused distribution environment
