Responsibilities
Monitor, adjust, and optimize BMS software and hardware to maintain operational efficiency
Review building settings and ensure that all BMS-enabled buildings function appropriately
Provide technical support and troubleshoot system malfunctions to minimize downtime
Provide support for energy management programs such as demand response
Ensure understanding of GW networks and systems to minimize disruptions of service
Repair, calibrate, and inspect electronic devices associated with BMS
Perform system adjustments, including changing building set points, adjusting parameters, modifying schedules and replacing controllers or circuit boards
Install new control wiring and systems as needed to support BMS infrastructure
Test and verify operating system upgrades for optimal response and security
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in BMS operation, programming, maintenance, and optimization, preferably in a multi-campus or institutional environment
Strong understanding of HVAC automation, control theory, and energy management principles
Preferred
Industry certifications such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Automation Professional (CAP), or BACnet International Certification
Experience with Siemens, Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, Trane, or other leading BMS platforms
