Case Manager - Waukesha OWI
Wisconsin Community Services, Inc. is seeking a Case Manager for pretrial case management of individuals with pending repeat intoxicated driving charges. The role involves monitoring bail conditions, conducting drug testing, and maintaining communication with treatment providers.

Responsibilities
Monitor bail conditions of persons ordered by the Court into the Intoxicated Driver Intervention Program to include scheduling and providing weekly supervision in the office
Draft accurate and complete written reports to the court to include regular updates as well as non-compliance reports
Conduct and record random drug testing on persons served across all Waukesha Court Service programs as required
Work as a team, sharing all aspects of caseload responsibilities, to include but not limited to: conducting intakes, writing court letters, obtaining essential court case information, ongoing CCAP checks, treatment updates, meeting with persons served, and staffing cases
Maintain accurate records of persons served to include detailed documentation of all contacts, referrals made, and all pertinent information related to all pending cases
Maintain on-going communication with treatment providers to assure compliance of persons served and open communications with counselors
Rotate to provide drug and preliminary breath testing on weekends, specifically Saturdays from 7:00 am to 10:00 am, as required
Assist with check-ins at the Waukesha County Victim Impact Panel once time per year
Assist with managing the lobby when coverage is needed
Maintain flexibility in schedule to include coverage in office as needed
Attend and participate in staff meetings
Other job-related duties as may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of the position
Appear in court and on the record as necessary
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice, Social Work or other related field
possess a valid Wisconsin Driver's License and insured auto
must pass criminal background check
Knowledge of the Justice System
familiarity with current OWI laws
knowledge of local AODA treatment programs and assessing agencies in charge of Driver's Safety Plans
strong written and verbal communication skills
ability to respond appropriately in crisis situations
sensitivity toward cultural, ethnic and disability issues
good organizational, computer and typing skills
ability to read and understand drug testing results and their implications
good judgment
effective use of time
must be trained in all WCS required Evidenced Based Principals within 90 day of hire and follow models for fidelity established by the agency
