Alliance For Children is the children’s advocacy center serving all of Tarrant County. The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for the overall direction and management of all clinical services within the organization, focusing on direct service oversight, establishment of best practice models, and ensuring compliance and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and evaluate Clinical services and procedures to improve client outcomes
Direct a team of mental health supervisors while providing clinical and administrative support; including determining workloads and schedules, evaluating staff performance, providing training, and making hiring, promotion, and disciplinary recommendations as needed
Ensure clinicians are trained and show fidelity in the modalities that Alliance For Children utilizes while monitoring the effectiveness and efficiency of services
Oversee budgeting and financial management of clinical services
Ensure uniformity within each Alliance For Children location
Formulate and review all Clinical protocols and procedures
Ensure clinical services meet the standards for Children’s Advocacy Centers as outlined in the Texas Family Code, standards guidelines as directed by Children’s Advocacy Centers of Texas, and local MDT protocols
Consistently attend multidisciplinary case staffing meetings to observe potential referrals, partner engagement, and service delivery
Attend all applicable leadership meetings, including the Interagency Committee, Senior Leadership, Director’s, Department leadership, and any additional meetings as requested to ensure cohesion and teamwork
Oversee PSB (problematic sexual behavior) client services in conjunction with Lena Pope
Handle all general inquiries coming from website and phone calls
Develop and maintain interagency relationships between local law enforcement, Department of Family and Protective Services, Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office, local medical organizations, and Alliance For Children
Develop and maintain relationships with other Child Advocacy Center clinical leaders as well as Mental Health organizations and services in Tarrant County
Serve as the agency lead in attendance and support of project development for the Mental Health Connection
Oversee and recruit clinical associates seeking hours for full clinical licensure for the PAL Program by fostering community and institutional relationships to build and sustain a pipeline of potential participants
Participate in future research projects and publication opportunities pertaining to clinical services
Meet regularly with the Chief Program Officer for supervision and service oversight
Accept special assignments and/or duties as assigned by the Chief Program Officer or Chief Executive Officer
Support the overall mission of Alliance For Children and each program within the agency structure by working collectively and cohesively with other management team members, demonstrating and modeling a positive, collaborative work environment

Required

Master's degree required in counseling, social work, or related field
Approved Clinical Supervisor (LPC-S, LCSW-S, or LMFT-S)
Experience working within a multidisciplinary team, preferably the Children's Advocacy Center model
Minimum of five years' supervisory experience working with clinicians or institutions of higher learning in direct practice with abused children and protective family members
At least 10 years of therapeutic experience working with abused children and protective family members
Certification in an evidence-based trauma specific modality; TF-CBT or EMDR preferred
Must have a valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance
Must successfully complete criminal and civil background checks
Ability to maintain confidentiality and present in a positive, professional manner at all times
Must be able to handle difficult, possibly graphic case details
Understanding of the Children's Advocacy Center model and child abuse investigative process
Able to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure of deadlines
Regular and reliable attendance

Preferred

Certification in an evidence-based trauma specific modality; TF-CBT or EMDR preferred
