Mid LevelGeospace Technologies is responsible for creating and maintaining a wide range of technical documentation. The Technical Writer will create, edit, and maintain documentation to support business operations and customer needs, collaborating with various stakeholders and capturing images to enhance materials.

Responsibilities
Create, edit, and maintain manufacturing documentation to ensure clarity and accuracy
Draft corporate documentation, user manuals, and guides to support business operations and customer needs
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to gather information for technical documentation
Capture images of manufacturing processes and equipment to enhance instructional materials
May assist marketing in creation of various marketing materials, including brochures
May assist marketing in product photography for brochures and marketing campaigns
Maintain consistency in branding, tone, and messaging across all documentation
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Technical Writer in a manufacturing or corporate setting
Strong understanding of technical writing principles and documentation best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Outlook, Word and Excel)
Ability to move within a manufacturing environment to capture process photography
Extended periods of sitting for document creation and editing
Occasional lifting of photography equipment and products
Must be eligible to work in the US permanently without sponsorship
Preferred
Proficiency in photography, including product photography techniques is a plus
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign and Photoshop) is a plus
A two or four-year degree in a relevant field, such as English, Communications, Graphic Design, or a technical discipline, is a plus
