MEDICAL BILLING SPECIALIST

They are seeking a Medical Billing Specialist responsible for managing billing insurance, acting as a liaison between clients and insurance companies, and ensuring all billing is captured and sent out in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Experience in Medical billing with Medicare/caid, managed care in a hospital or doctor's office setting
Responsible for managing the administrative responsibilities of billing insurance to ensure the client's procedures are paid for by their insurance company
Acting as the liaison between the client, client's family, insurance company, utilization review and other staff when necessary
Verifying insurance, handling self-pay client accounts, accurately preparing Medicaid, Medicare, Managed Care and third-party billing on a weekly basis
In addition, you will be working all claim rejections in clearinghouse to ensure all billing is captured and sent out in a timely manner
Will also assist in helping to maintain daily census/assist in claim deletions-corrections as needed
Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures

Required

Experience in Medical billing with Medicare/caid, managed care in a hospital or doctor's office setting

Maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures
Ability to receive and maintain a Level II Background clearance
Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver's license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire insurance company
2 years' experience in Medical Billing or AA degree
