Business Development Representative

LexSims is building an AI-native decision-support platform for legal teams, and they are seeking a Business Development Representative to generate qualified pipeline and expand their presence across law firms and litigation teams. This role involves outreach, booking meetings, and shaping the go-to-market process for the company.

Responsibilities

Identify and research target accounts (law firms, practice groups, litigation boutiques, in-house legal teams)
Execute outbound outreach across email, LinkedIn, and phone to generate meetings
Qualify inbound and outbound leads using a consistent discovery framework
Book and hand off qualified meetings to founders / sales leads with strong context and notes
Maintain accurate activity and pipeline tracking in CRM (lead status, next steps, deal notes)
Test and iterate messaging, sequences, and targeting; share learnings with the team
Support webinars/events, partner outreach, and referral programs when relevant
Collaborate with marketing/product to refine positioning based on market feedback

Required

0–3 years experience in sales development, business development, or client-facing roles (SaaS is a plus)

Ability to learn technical products quickly and translate value into outcomes
Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with ambiguity
