Responsibilities

Perform mid-level fiber and copper cable installation including termination, assembly, and dressing to satisfy customer requirements
Independently add and remove non-powered cables and equipment following the scope of the project
Ability to add and remove customer equipment (racks, cabinets, etc.) from a variety of fixed locations such as walls concrete floors and raised floors
Ability to test customer copper and fiber cables with various testing equipment to ensure proper functionality
Ability to read and understand construction prints and cable markings as well as creating labels for installed equipment to ensure a satisfactory deliverable
Install cable pathways (i.e. J-hooks, support rings, cable slings, cable trays, ladder racks, etc.) and ground/bond IT equipment to satisfy customer expectations and contribute to project success
Constantly assess potential safety hazards and adherence to all ADB and customer safety expectations
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Required

1-3 years of cable installation experience required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to perform mid-level fiber and copper cable installation including termination, assembly, and dressing to satisfy customer requirements

Minimum of 1 manufacturer certification (i.e. CommScope, B-Line, etc.) preferred but not required
Man lift certification and CPR certification preferred (ability to obtain upon hire required)
OSHA 10 preferred (ability to obtain upon hire required)
