SAIC is seeking a Facilities Project Manager to join our talented team in Lompoc, CA. This position is responsible for providing project and programmatic management expertise for the coordination, planning, and work prioritization of assigned projects for the Client. The role involves overseeing the project life cycle phases, including requirements development, programming, design, construction, and closeout.

Responsibilities

Serve as a liaison, coordinating and reporting to U.S. government representatives at various levels
Manage the activities of A/E (Architectural/Engineering) firms and construction contractors, ensuring projects are executed on schedule, meet quality standards, and stay within budget
Conduct and validate cost proposals
Develop and present metrics to promote a culture of continuous improvement

TS/SCI with PolygraphFacilities project executionProject Management certificationBachelor's degree in engineeringBuilding codesManage resourcesInterpersonal skillsSelf-starter

Required

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Bachelor's degree in facilities related engineering or architectural field with 7+ years of relevant experience in the IC, DOD or Commercial Sector
Self-starter – this position will be part of a team but management will not be local
Knowledge of facility operations and facility project execution
Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to team with industry partners
Demonstrated track record of adhering to tight schedules with demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple and competing resources

Preferred

Master's Degree in a Business, Engineering or Architectural Field
Knowledge of the Client's operations
Knowledge of federal, state, and local building and safety codes
Experience in schedule analysis
Project Management Institutes' PMP or equivalent project management certification
