Bethany for Children & Families is looking for multiple passionate, caring, and motivated Outpatient Mental Health Therapists to join their team at Bridgeview Community Mental Health Center in Clinton, Iowa. The role involves conducting mental health evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with families and community resources to ensure quality care.

Responsibilities

Conduct mental health evaluations to determine medical necessity and diagnosis
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to client needs
Ensure informed consent and proper completion of legal/agency documentation
Complete discharge planning and summaries
Partner with families, schools, hospitals, case managers, and community resources
Ensure continuity of care and manage transitions effectively
Provide training and consultation to staff and colleagues when needed
Maintain accurate clinical records, reports, and required data in a timely manner
Follow all agency policies, as well as all legal, licensing, and accreditation requirements
Uphold the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and professional practice
Participate in ongoing training and staff development
Meet regularly with your clinical supervisor for support and case review

Qualification

Master’s degree in mental healthCurrent unrestricted licenseProficiency with MS WordProficiency with ExcelAttend to children

Required

Valid driver's license with the ability to operate agency vehicles
Acceptable auto insurance coverage
Master's degree in a mental health field (psychology, counseling, psychiatric nursing, social work, etc.)
Current, unrestricted initial license (tLMHC, LMSW, LPC, LSW) in Iowa or Illinois, depending on work location
Master's degree in a mental health field (psychology, counseling, psychiatric nursing, social work, etc.)
Current, unrestricted independent license (LISW, LMHC, LCPC, LCSW) in Iowa or Illinois, depending on work location
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and ability to learn other software
Ability to physically attend to children in moments of difficulty
