Responsibilities

Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions
Inspect solder joints for quality and correct any defects
Record all deviations and modifications from original design
Identify and report assembly or part defects to supervisors or quality control
Trim component leads and clean boards with strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
Maintain confidentiality and security of intellectual property (CUI-ITAR, Prototype)

Required

Ability to maintain a full time schedule
High school diploma or equivalent
IPC-610 or J-STD-001 certification
1+ years of experience in hand soldering electronic components (through-hole/surface mount) with precision and consistency
Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings to accurately place components
Proven ability working with tools such as soldering irons, cutters, magnifiers, and microscopes
Thorough understanding and adherence to safety and ESD procedures

Preferred

Experience in a mid- to high-volume electronics manufacturing environment
Ability to learn specialized machines
