They are seeking a Full-Time Transportation/Civil Engineer to produce design plans and specifications for urban and rural public/private roadways while working collaboratively with team members and public officials.

Responsibilities

Produce design plans and specifications for urban and rural public/private roadways, which may include grading, erosion control, and stormwater management

Prepare civil engineering design calculations, high-level technical designs, drainage reports, and cost estimates

Work with city, county, and state regulatory or reviewing authorities to identify appropriate design criteria and limitation

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related degree from an EAC/ABET, CEAB-accredited engineering program, or program that meets the NCEES Engineering Education Standard

Engineer in Training (“E.I.T.” or “E.I.”) Designation

Four (4) years of progressively responsible engineering experience

Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office

Experience with roadway design, hydrologic and hydraulic computations, computer modeling, and presentation of results

Demonstrated team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
