NEOGOV is seeking dedicated professionals to join the South Carolina Attorney General's Office in their Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) team. This role involves investigating and prosecuting crimes against children facilitated through technology, including child pornography and solicitation of minors.

Responsibilities

Advise law enforcement agents regarding possible criminal violations. Review law enforcement reports and case information. Advise and assist law enforcement on Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigations

Prepare cases for county grand jury consideration and final disposition. Prepare appropriate indictments in time to be adequately reviewed and approved by the Attorney General. Prepare cases for trial. Seek appropriate resolution of all cases in a timely manner

Make court appearances and trial presentations on behalf of the State of South Carolina and the SC Attorney General’s Office

Prepare orders and other necessary documentation to obtain subscriber information from the Internet and electronic service providers

Assist in training and making presentations to law enforcement agencies, local community groups, schools, or related interest groups on ICAC issues. Respond to citizen inquiries

Performs other related duties as requested by the Attorney General, Chief Deputy Attorney General, and supervising attorney
