Responsibilities

Leverages the Bluespine platform to develop and refine new audit concepts in healthcare. Leads concept creation across multiple audit verticals
Works closely with Medical Coders, Data Sciences, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment and drive impactful results
Lead in-depth research of new ideas and concepts

Required

Extensive knowledge of medical terminology
Extensive knowledge of medical records
Extensive knowledge of health information management
Extensive knowledge of medical coding
Extensive knowledge of DRG methodologies
Extensive knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding guidelines
Extensive knowledge of physician specialty guidelines
Extensive knowledge of reimbursement programs
Extensive knowledge of claims adjudication processes
Extensive knowledge of member contract benefits
Extensive knowledge of provider billing systems and practices
Registered Nurse required

Preferred

Previous auditing or consulting experience in a provider or payer environment
Previous auditing or consulting experience with self-insured companies
Bachelor's or Graduate degree
