Responsibilities
Candidate will create meaningful contacts with local officials
Produce 8-10 news stories a week on average
Candidate will work with DME (Digital Managing Editor) to create news reports via audio and/or video
Qualification
Required
Experience in Journalism or related field
Excellent communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task
Proficiency with social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
Passion for local media!
Must live local to Buffalo, NY
Strong storytelling skills
Must be flexible and efficient
Must be able to multitask and potentially juggle multiple leads
Ability to dig deep into a variety of topics for compelling reports
