This role will provide exposure to data governance practices in data management, analytics, and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

Support and maintain metadata repositories, data dictionaries, and business glossaries for energy-related data domains (Customer, Energy Efficiency)
Review and capture properties of data in the Enterprise Data Catalog (eg. Numeric, alphanumeric, text etc. and length)
Seek input from teammates and engage in collaborative tasks to build glossaries
Use advanced excel techniques like vlookups, macros etc to build data catalog
Understand processes and document them in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, etc
Willingness to learn about energy systems, data governance frameworks, and emerging technologies
Collect and analyze feedback from cross-functional teams

Required

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related discipline

Experience with advanced Excel techniques like vlookups and macros
Familiarity with data governance practices in data management and analytics
