Responsibilities
Assist in managing the team to conduct repairs and maintenance of the building as required by the operation or special projects assigned by the Engineering Manager
Assist in the training, supervision, counseling, scheduling and evaluation of performance and planning the activities of maintenance staff including making spot checks on a daily basis
Maintain close working relations with hotel contractors who provide reliable 24-hour emergency services
This position may also respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner to achieve guest satisfaction
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 + years of previous experience in engineering trades related to hospitality is preferred
Requires technical knowledge of building maintenance and engineering trades
Ability to operate computer equipment
Good communication skills are a necessity
Fluency in English is required for this location
Current work authorization in the United States
Preferred
Experience working in and supervising staff and leading teams in a hotel environment preferred
Ability to speak Spanish preferred
