Responsibilities
Monitor and track project budgets, expenditures, and financial performance
Prepare and analyze project financial reports for internal review and client submission
Process client billings and subcontractor/vendor invoices in accordance with company policies and contract requirements
Assist Division Managers with budget forecasting and cost-to-complete analysis
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project accounting records in the company’s financial systems
Ensure compliance with contractual terms, regulatory standards, and company accounting practices
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other industry-related field from an accredited university
Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably project accounting experience within the AEC industry (Architecture/Engineering/Construction)
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
Proficiency with financial software (e.g., Unanet, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP)
Strong communication skills
Strong coordination skills
3.0 GPA minimum
Preferred
M.S. in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other industry-related field from an accredited university
Experience with QuickBooks
Residence within the Chicagoland area
