Lead/StaffNational Legal Aid & Defender Association is seeking to fill Staff Attorney positions throughout the state of New Hampshire. The role involves providing high-quality representation to indigent clients while managing a caseload that includes misdemeanor and felony cases.

Make sound legal arguments in the courtroom
Work independently and collaboratively
Handle a smaller caseload consisting of misdemeanor and youth cases
Receive felony cases and co-counseling opportunities
Be responsible for a full caseload consisting of felonies, misdemeanors, delinquency matters, and others
Qualification
Required
Ability to effectively communicate with clients
Ability to spot and anticipate legal issues
Ability to write, edit, and review motions
Ability to make sound legal arguments in the courtroom
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
