Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of electrical systems and components for motherboards, custom compute boards, and backplanes

Conduct electrical and thermal simulations to validate design concepts

Perform design for manufacturability analysis and create design documentation

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and test engineers, to ensure seamless integration of designs

Support the manufacturing team by providing technical assistance and resolving issues related to electrical designs

Participate in design reviews and provide input to improve design processes and product quality

Integrate third-party subsystems, including COTS power supplies, third-party motherboards, GPUs, and I/O cards such as network and storage
