Responsibilities
Serve as the escalation point for the Service Desk on outages, issues, questions, and requests related to supported applications
Monitor and manage application platforms to ensure full functionality and availability for business operations
Collect, evaluate, and coordinate enhancement requests across business units
Implement application configuration changes as part of scheduled releases
Act as the point person for coordinating patching, releases, and development efforts with vendors and IT teams
Test critical business functions and provide final approval for successful implementations
Serve as the primary contact with application vendors, maintaining awareness of current contracts, licensing details, and planned release functionality
Represent supported applications in change control meetings
Assist in estimating effort for enhancements and system changes
Create release notes to communicate fixes and new capabilities to business users
Collaborate with IT Trainers to produce user documentation and self-help resources
Review business requirement qualification documentation from Business Analysts to ensure alignment with platform direction
Moderate prioritization meetings across multiple service lines to determine targeted enhancements for upcoming releases
Understand and evaluate relationships, dependencies, and impacts across neighboring business functions
Qualification
Required
3 years of relevant experience required
Deep business and technical knowledge of the application platform and its usage in the firm
Strong understanding of application lifecycle management, release management, and vendor coordination
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical details into business-friendly language
Cloud administration (Azure/AWS/GCP)
API support and integration troubleshooting
Basic scripting (PowerShell/Python/Bash)
IAM technologies (SAML, OAuth, OIDC, RBAC)
Application performance monitoring
Scaling strategies for enterprise systems
Preferred
Experience planning, facilitating, documenting and managing business, functional and technical requirements
Experience in test planning, test case development and execution
Cloud Admin experience
Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree
