6+ years expPlacement By Design, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer/Designer for a Project Manager role. The Project Manager will focus on the design and production of construction drawings for MEP/commercial building projects, overseeing the entire process from start to finish.
Architecture & Planning
Responsibilities
Initiate project start-up, manages and hands on production for document preparation, and coordinates construction administration activities
Assume primary responsibility for the project’s financial success, quality of documents, delivery of service to the client, and schedule performance
Act as primary designer on projects
Production of construction drawings using Autocad on all projects assigned
Serves in a more external client facing role
Qualification
Required
Minimum of Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
6-10 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering
5+ years of recent experience working on commercial building/MEP projects
Proficiency in Autocad, MS Office (Word and Excel), ComCheck and other energy code forms
Preferred
EIT or PE is a plus, but not required
