Responsibilities

Supporting the development of physics models for virtual crop and soil interactions

Performing laboratory characterization tests to measure crop physical and mechanical properties (stems, seeds, leaves)

Processing measurement data and conducting DEM calibration simulations to improve model accuracy

Validating models by comparing predictions with industrial-scale rig test results

Assisting in the simulation of soil, crop, and machinery interactions using DEM, CFD, MBD, and SYSM tools

Preparing a final report and presentation summarizing model development, validation results, and recommendations for use by crop flow modeling and design engineers
