Responsibilities

Lead internal communications strategy development for senior leaders, drafting blogs, email updates, organizational changes and associate engagement messaging, among other initiatives
Lead communication efforts for internal divisional events, including Town Halls and strategy meetings
Draft talking points and prep documents for executive-level internal events
Contribute to social media channels (primarily LinkedIn) in alignment to thought leadership strategy and objectives
Contribute to internal storytelling strategy and initiatives
Partner cross-functionally on key initiatives with the ability to manage high-visibility projects, gather input from a variety of stakeholders, and drive results
Openly and actively contribute as a member of the Financial Services Communications team and Thought Leadership pod, identifying key opportunities and taking the lead on developing solutions that address both internal and external needs
Highly effective communications skills with outstanding writing abilities, including the ability to ghostwrite content in the style and voice of leaders

Required

Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
At least 5 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, social media management or writing
At least 2 years of experience in communication strategy development for executive leaders
Highly effective communications skills with outstanding writing abilities, including the ability to ghostwrite content in the style and voice of leaders
Detail oriented: Holds a high bar for written content and an eagle-eye for formatting/editing
Storyteller: Simplify the complex and compel our audience to act
Writing Chameleon: Ability to take the tone, brand and voice of various leaders and channels
Customer-obsessed: Ability to deeply understand customer needs and business context, and uncover creative solutions to help achieve their goals
Analytical problem-solver: Uses data and storytelling to influence decisions and deliver actionable recommendations that solve current engagement & communication opportunities
Results oriented: Focuses on driving impact in both the short- and long-term, and is able to drive and execute an agenda end-to-end from conception through to delivery

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, English or Journalism
2+ years of experience in financial services, technology, or similar organization
2+ years experience in ghostwriting
6+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, marketing or writing
3+ years experience in internal and/or executive communications
2+ years of experience editing using AP Style
