Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and implement COBOL-based applications
Analyze, debug, and resolve issues in existing programs
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals and system specifications
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and enhancements
Provide technical support to internal users and external clients as needed
Ensure proper documentation of code and overall system functionality
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a COBOL Developer
Strong experience with CICS
Hands-on experience with Web Services and APIs
Experience working with VSAM and ADS/O
Knowledge of Java and .NET technologies, including Visual Basic and C#
Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including: DB2, IDMS, MySQL, SQL-based databases
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
