Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable, distributed services
Build automation and streamline packaging processes, reduce manual steps, and improve efficiency across the servicing pipeline
Operate and maintain core services ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability
Participate in the Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) rotation to support service health and drive continuous improvements
Collaborate across teams to deliver solutions that accelerate Windows delivery and enhance customer experience
Embody the Microsoft culture and values
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
OR equivalent experience
Experience with distributed systems, cloud services, and automation frameworks
Experience with troubleshooting complex technical issues and implement resilient solutions
Experience with UI (User Interface) development, including building responsive interfaces and integrating front-end components with backend services
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role
Preferred
5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
Familiarity with Windows servicing, packaging, or update delivery pipelines
Experience with telemetry, monitoring, and performance optimization at scale
Familiarity with modern UI (User Interface) frameworks (e.g., Fluent)
