Responsibilities
Document your designs from requirements, testing procedures and bill of material
Perform detailed performance and functional measurements and debug at a hardware level
Create custom Circuit Cards, utilizing FPGAs, Embedded Processors, networking components, and other electronic components
Performance characterization of hardware over a wide variety environment condition
Use Industry standard interfaces (e.g. 1GE, 10GE, 40GE, 100GE, SPI, UART, SDRAM, DDR3, DDR4 JESD, PCIe, 1000BASE-T)
Support test engineering with transition of hardware to manufacturing testing
Contribute to design review, system integration
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
Preferred
Degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 3 years of experience with CCA and Hardware Design experience
Familiar with lab test equipment
Master's Preferred
Minimum of 4 years' experience with hardware verification, schematic capture, PCB Layout
Experience in laboratory debug techniques using digital scopes, logic analyzers, BERTS, and other complex measurement devices
Experience with Mentor Graphic's tools is preferred
Familiarity with code revision management tools such as Git/ClearCase
Familiarity with Confluence or other information sharing tools
