5+ years expConsor Engineers is seeking a Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) to join their Phoenix, AZ office and lead survey delivery for transportation and public infrastructure projects. This role focuses on accurate, efficient survey execution and collaboration with engineering teams on impactful projects across Arizona.
Civil Engineering
Responsibilities
Manage topographic, ROW, LiDAR, UAV, boundary, and construction layout surveys
Prepare and review legal descriptions, ROW maps, and survey deliverables
Coordinate with engineers and project managers on highway and infrastructure design
Ensure compliance with ADOT, FHWA, and local standards
Provide guidance to survey teams and mentor junior staff as needed
Support proposals and assist in identifying new project opportunities
Implement and maintain QA/QC for survey documents and data
Qualification
Required
Active Arizona RLS license (or ability to obtain within 1 year)
5+ years of land surveying experience, including leadership or PM responsibilities
Strong understanding of transportation, ROW, and boundary survey work
Proficiency with Trimble/Leica, Civil 3D, or similar platforms
Knowledge of Arizona survey and mapping requirements
Effective communication and ability to manage projects independently
Preferred
Familiarity with ADOT processes and delivery standards (a plus)
