World History Adjunct

Inside Higher Ed is seeking a World History Adjunct to teach college-level courses in World Civilization at Olympic College. Responsibilities

Teach in-person classes on the Bremerton campus, and distance classes as needed
Teach college-level courses in accordance with the college catalog, schedule of classes, course outlines, course syllabi, and any departmental guidelines
Provide quality teaching including related preparation and grading
Provide class syllabi to students enrolled in classes and to the division office as requested
Maintain accurate records of students and complete forms as required
May include evening instruction and/or instruction at satellite campuses
Punctual communication with students, faculty, and staff
Perform other related duties as assigned and/or required

Qualification

Master's degree in HistoryTeaching experienceWorld Civilization coursesBasic computer skillsCultural awarenessTechnology integrationInterpersonal skillsEffective communication

Required

Master's degree in History from an accredited College or University
Previous teaching experience
Instructors should have the ability to teach World Civilization courses (HIST& 126, 127, 128)
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
Candidates must be available to teach in person on the Bremerton campus
Punctual communication with students, faculty, and staff
Provide quality teaching including related preparation and grading
Provide class syllabi to students enrolled in classes and to the division office as requested
Maintain accurate records of students and complete forms as required
May include evening instruction and/or instruction at satellite campuses
Teach in-person classes on the Bremerton campus, and distance classes as needed
