2026 Summer Field Engineering Intern (Hybrid schedule)
Eversource Energy is seeking a Summer Field Engineering Intern to join their Field Engineering team. The intern will gain practical experience in troubleshooting, maintaining, and commissioning protection and control schemes associated with the Bulk Electric System and Distribution System.

Responsibilities
Calibration and repair of Test Equipment such as power system simulators used to maintain relay systems required for regulatory compliance
Reviewing Test Equipment inventory and managing repairs with original equipment manufacturers
Work with supervision to ensure job aids, engineering documentation, material, and test equipment is available for task execution
Shadow Field Engineers and Supervisors in the field conducting relay maintenance, troubleshooting, and construction commissioning activities in the substations
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering technology
Individual must hold a valid motor vehicle license
Must be available to start May 27th for a minimum of 10-12 weeks
