Data Quality Analyst
The City of New York's Fire Department is the largest in the United States, focused on providing essential public safety services. They are seeking a Data Quality Analyst to assist in data-driven decision-making, performing data quality checks, and supporting the development of interactive dashboards.

Responsibilities
Assist the Department’s in the making evidence-based decisions
Perform data quality checks and anomaly detection
Support the building of interactive dashboards, primarily using Tableau/PowerBI and modern Python frameworks (Dash/Streamlit)
Swiftly fulfill ad-hoc data requests and design appropriate metrics to track and report on departmental performance
Participate in community outreach, especially in the context of Open Data, including responding to public inquiries and representing the Department at Open Data Events
Gather feedback from the community to connect the FDNY's internal data efforts with the public
Assist the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer’s office with tracking their initiatives
Assist the Intergovernmental Affairs Unit with reporting for local laws and various Community Board initiatives
Qualification
Required
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above
High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above
Education and/or experience which is equivalent to '1' or '2' above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in '1' above
