Water Senior Project Manager

They are seeking a Water Senior Project Manager to drive business development activities and lead the local water resources team, focusing on innovative water solutions and client relationships in Minnesota.

Responsibilities
Drive business development activities within Minnesota and lead the local water resources team
Perform a variety of team roles within project delivery (project management, QA/QC, and performing) as they relate to stormwater and water resources engineering to deliver innovative water solutions. Examples of project types include urban stormwater management (water quality and flood resiliency) analysis, master planning, and design; FEMA floodplain studies; and water supply reliability planning
Responsible for scope, schedule, budget development, monitoring and adherence for projects managed to provide extreme client services to build lasting relationships
Grow market and technical presence within the region through working with the AE2S team to prioritize client pursuits, build client relationships, provide client management, identify opportunities, and support competitive proposal pursuits
Serve as a technical guidance, senior leadership, and mentor for junior engineers within the Water Resources Practice to empower the team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering field related to water resources with 15+ years of experience in water resources engineering
Demonstrated experience interfacing with clients and successfully leading or participating in watershed master planning/drainage basin design plans, and floodplain studies and water supply planning
Strong understanding of project financials with a proven track record of successfully completing tasks and projects that are on time and on budget while meeting or exceeding client expectations
Work within multi-discipline projects with the ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Strong communication skills with ability to work remotely and collaboratively with clients and project team members
Ability to travel as required for project/client responsibilities and business development
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

Preferred
Demonstrated experience pursuing and winning water resources projects through the competitive RFP/Q process
Registration as a Professional Engineer in Minnesota or ability to obtain in 6 months
Demonstrated experience using SWMM software for urban stormwater management analysis and HEC-RAS for floodplain analysis
Basic proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS software
