Production Manager, Entertainment

Resorts World Las Vegas is seeking a Manager of Production - AV to oversee technical entertainment operations and support various entertainment initiatives throughout the property. This role involves managing A/V services, ensuring successful event execution, and maintaining client relationships while driving financial performance.

Responsibilities

Performs assigned operational functions within the department consistent with the strategic plan and vision for the division and Resorts World Las Vegas
Supports department’s standard operating procedures and protocols
Defines needs, advances entertainment productions and advancing management services as needed
Drives financial performance by effectively managing the department budget including labor, equipment, and sub-rentals etc
Develops client relationships and manages sales process to achieve sales objectives (if applicable)
Ensures proper team member training, safety protocols, technical education, and industry best practices
Maintains property Audio Visual OS E inventory, manages department’s material resources
Cultivates and maintains relationships with key venue personnel to enhance the overall business relationship with venue, in addition to maintaining relationships with clients by providing information, support, and guidance
Effectively manages the set-up of client events and follow through on all client requests to ensure successful outcomes within established SLA’s
Create and manage an avenue of good communication for the department throughout the company
Manages all property wide installed LED walls for proper operation. Assigns Entertainment AV Technicians to repair interior LED walls
Manages LED Service Agreement with exterior LED service provider. Requests LED service as required
Creates a work environment that promotes integrity, Company values, teamwork, extraordinary performance, accountability, continuous improvement, recognition, and employee satisfaction
Liaison between Entertainment and other internal business units. (Special events, sales, etc.)
Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing
Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc
Perform other job-related duties as requested

Required

At least ten years of audio-visual technology experience, preferably in a similar luxury environment
At least three years of management experience with direct reports, with full responsibility for performance management and growth
Experience as a vendor/client liaison for complex projects from start to finish
Ability to manage and thrive while maintaining a sense of urgency and resourcefulness
Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced, busy, and stressful environment; maintain proper mental attitude and ability to operate effectively while working under pressure and meeting deadlines
Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks as a high energy leader while maintaining a strong focus on guests both internal and external
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and within the team
Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to effectively communicate in English
Polished appearance and demeanor
Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures
Ability to successfully lead and mentor a team
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

Preferred

Ability to read and comprehend A/V system drawings, specifications, technical manuals
Technical-level knowledge and experience with digital and analog A/V technologies, i.e. audio video systems, A/V control systems, Broadcasting, A/V streaming and web-based technologies as well as other industry standard A/V technologies.ie Bright Sign, Triple Play, Visionary Solutions, Resolume, Novastar, CorioMaster, Grand MA 2/3, Chamsys, ETC, Paradigm, Mosaic, etc
Strong working knowledge of technical show control software especially QLAB, Meyer Sound Galaxy DSP and SPACEMAP GO and L'acoustics systems and network manager
Strong working knowledge of information technology systems, network infrastructure and operations
Strong working knowledge of industry standard A/V technologies, best practices, and service programs
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Visio
CTS (Certified Technology Specialist)
RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) Certifications
Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting
