LHH is seeking a Senior Accountant for a well-established law firm based in Dallas, TX. This full-cycle accounting role will support the firm’s growth by ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance, and driving process improvements in a collaborative and professional environment.

Responsibilities

Manage the full cycle of accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP
Maintain and strengthen internal controls to ensure compliance with audit standards, tax regulations, and company policies
Partner with leadership and other departments to align on financial goals, providing accurate reporting and guidance
Support audits by preparing necessary schedules and documentation for internal and external auditors
Mentor and review the work of accounting staff, providing training on complex accounting topics
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance data accuracy

CPAAccounting experienceMicrosoft ExcelAccounting softwareAnalytical skillsOrganizational skillsProblem-solving skillsCommunication skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
5-7 years of progressive accounting experience in a similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables) and knowledge of accounting platforms
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a professional office setting

Preferred

CPA preferred
Experience with Emburse, Concur, Elite 3E, or similar software is a plus
