Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and investor packages
Fund Accounting: Oversee month-end close, journal entries, allocations, and review fund administrator records for accuracy
Audit & Compliance: Coordinate year-end audits and tax filings, providing necessary documentation and support to auditors
General Ledger Management: Maintain reconciliations and schedules for key accounts, including cash, payables, and accruals
Technical Accounting: Research and apply accounting guidance, drafting memos on complex transactions and valuations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
3-6 years of accounting experience, ideally in public or fund accounting with a focus on private equity, credit, or hedge funds
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, limited partnership agreements, fund waterfalls, and private fund structures
Analytical and detail-oriented professional with strong communication and problem-solving skills who thrives in a fast-paced, team environment
Preferred
CPA strongly preferred
Preferred experience using NetSuite or comparable ERP systems
