Atlantic Group is hiring a Staff Accountant (Corporate Accounting) with our client in New York, NY. In this hybrid role, you will support monthly financial reporting, audits, and forecasting within a fast-paced corporate accounting environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly financial packages, forecasts, budgets, and audited financial statements
Perform balance sheet, P&L, and bank reconciliations (including daily cash entries) to ensure accuracy
Prepare journal entries, accruals, and schedules to support timely and accurate month-end reporting
Assist with client billing and maintain accuracy in billing schedules and revenue recognition
Support internal and external audits while ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in corporate or public accounting, with exposure to financial reporting or the financial services industry
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Understanding of GAAP accounting principles, audit support, and financial reporting standards
Detail-oriented and analytical with strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment
