The NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is dedicated to improving the health of New Yorkers. The Registration/Data Clerk will assist in managing clinic operations, ensuring quality data entry, and supporting the clinic manager in outreach and training efforts.

Responsibilities

Prepare letters for Clinicians to be delivered to patients that need to be outreached to return to the clinic for additional service and or treatment

Prepare Triage/intake cards for the next day and to ensure that members of the public needing our sexual health services receive timely services

Assist with reviewing her charts for errors by assisting in the QA and QI processes and thus ensuring that errors are limited and thus ensuring the quality of data collected and entered into our EMR is accurate

Train employees, observe and report progress to Clinic Manager

File patient's chart daily under current day

High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to duties described above
