Responsibilities
Manage all phases of the Off Grid Island project, including yurts, A-frame, heli-pad, and off-grid utilities
Coordinate logistics of materials, equipment, contractors, and transport (e.g. barge, helicopter)
Oversee execution of solar/generator installation, water systems, and septic solutions
Track budgets, maintain construction timelines, and ensure vendor alignment
Report to the VP of Land Development with updates, site photos, and field-level risks
Operate with autonomy while collaborating closely with on-site leadership and vendors
Execute design-build project scope with precision, adapting plans in real-time as site conditions and client needs evolve
Deliver results under accelerated timelines, with a relentless focus on quality, speed, and client-level expectations
Qualification
Required
5+ years in off-grid, remote site, or rugged terrain construction project management
Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle builds with minimal infrastructure support
Familiarity with off-grid systems: solar arrays, generators, water/septic, telecom
Ability to plan, sequence, and manage projects with weather/environment constraints
Strong verbal/written communication skills, with clear reporting style
Hands-on approach with confidence operating in isolated job sites
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; PMP certification a plus
Proven ability to lead capital projects from design through build - managing everything from initial plans to field execution
Experience working directly with or adjacent to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and high-touch client environments
Able to travel and spend multi-week rotations on-site in undisclosed location off the coast of Vancouver, BC
