Responsibilities

Provide focused oversight for developing, implementing, and evaluating Credentials processes to assure accurate and timely completion of the medical staff applications for appointment, reappointments and temporary appointment to the Region
Train and supervise staff and consultants
Provide professional support to the Region Credentialing Coordinators, Physician Leaders, and Facility Administrators to assure compliance with the required regulations for each appropriate accrediting body

Required

Upon hire: CPCS or CPMSM certification through NAMSS (National Association Medical Staff Services)
5 years Executive/administrative level work within a medical staff office
2 years Supervisory or lead experience
2 years Experience with set up, reporting and data base management tools ASM/MD staff or similar credentialing software

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration or Similar Field
