Floor Manager
BPS is seeking a Floor Manager to lead front-of-house service during operating hours and ensure an exceptional guest experience. This hands-on role involves managing staff, maintaining service standards, and resolving issues in real time to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Responsibilities
Lead all FOH operations during service
Actively engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and handle concerns professionally
Maintain service standards, timing, and presentation
Ensure smooth pacing between kitchen and dining room
Resolve issues quickly and discreetly
Supervise servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, and runners
Assign sections, manage breaks, and adjust staffing as needed
Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate nightly priorities
Coach staff on service, professionalism, and upselling
Enforce policies consistently and fairly
Monitor reservations, waitlists, and table turns
Coordinate with the kitchen on ticket flow and timing
Ensure proper opening and closing procedures
Handle comps, voids, and adjustments responsibly
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and ambiance standards
Drive revenue through strong hospitality and table management
Encourage responsible upselling of food and beverages
Monitor service charge/gratuity procedures per house policy
Support special events, prix fixe menus, and promotions
Qualification
Required
2+ years of restaurant management or lead service experience
Strong floor presence with the ability to lead under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Solid understanding of service standards and guest recovery
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Calm, confident, and solution-oriented leadership style
Preferred
Experience with POS systems (Toast preferred)
