MILLATHANE OPERATOR I

TSE Industries is seeking a Millathane Operator I to understand all aspects of Millathane. The role involves operating Millathane processing machines, unloading and stacking materials, and ensuring quality control through teamwork and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, and transport load to designated area
Operator must be able to work in our 5004 Room
Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device
Operate Millathane processing machine; check weights, temperatures, flow rates, and pressures on all components
Correctly pack and label Millathane products with correct lot numbers and Mooney viscosities
Start-up procedure to run the banbury. Understand the pressures and temperatures as well as amperage and flow of the material within
Operate and safely run the rubber mills
Operator must be able to read, understand and follow Quality System Procedures
Operator should be trained or have knowledge on the basic chemical operations, like the weighing and mixing of ingredients

Required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Must complete and maintain the following Safety Training requirements: General Safety Orientation, Forklift Safety Training, Respiratory Protection Training, Confined Space Entry Training, Hazard Communications Training, HAZWOPER Awareness Training, Lock-Out/Tag-Out Training, Personal Protective Equipment Training, Hearing Protection Training, Heat Stress Training, Machine Guarding Training, Fall Protection Training
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Must wear a full face respirator and comply with TSE Respiratory Protection Program and Title 29 CFR 1910.134
Individuals with pre-existing respiratory conditions including but not limited to asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, and the like are at high risk of experiencing serious reactions to isocyanates
