HotelZone is seeking an experienced Director of Catering, Events & Venues to lead sales, planning, and execution of high-end events across their hotel and restaurant venues. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth through effective event management and collaboration with various teams to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute the catering, events, and venue sales strategy to drive revenue growth

Market and sell event spaces for private dining, buyouts, corporate functions, and social events

Oversee sales prospecting, account management, contracting, and business development

Direct the coordination of all event details, resources, and timelines from inquiry to execution

Manage and mentor the events and catering team, setting clear goals and performance standards

Collaborate closely with culinary, operations, marketing, and hotel leadership to ensure alignment

Maintain accurate pipelines, forecasts, and reporting using Tripleseat, Sevenrooms, Peoplevine, Prismm, and Excel

Serve as a visible leader during key events, ensuring service excellence and guest satisfaction

Uphold company standards and policies without compromising the quality of the guest experience

Required

5+ years of experience in luxury hospitality, upscale restaurants, or large venue environments

At least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role overseeing catering, events, or sales teams

Proven success in driving event revenue and venue utilization

Strong background in event sales, coordination, and client relationship management

Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and time management

Confident working independently with minimal supervision

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; multilingual is a plus

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

Guest-focused, culturally aware, and polished in presentation and demeanor

Full schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Physically able to stand, bend, lift, push, or pull up to 30 lbs

Proficient with Excel and event/sales platforms (Tripleseat, Sevenrooms, Peoplevine, Prismm)
