Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service and foster a welcoming environment for patients and their families
Conduct initial patient triage and obtain patient histories
Ensure efficient patient flow, minimizing wait times and coordinating with providers
Assist providers with direct patient care and routine medical procedures
Stay updated on policies, procedures, and compliance regulations
Communicate patient results and follow up as needed
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring exam rooms are fully stocked
Adhere to safety, environmental, and infection control protocols
Perform routine clinical tasks, including:
EKGs
Ear lavage
Sterile dressing changes
Nebulizer treatments
Suture removal
Administering immunizations and therapeutic injections
Complete additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required to effectively communicate with a diverse patient population
Strong customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Knowledge of business office procedures and experience in a healthcare setting
Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and problem-solve effectively
Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with providers, patients, and colleagues
Preferred
Medical Assistant certification preferred, or equivalent clinical training
