The Senior SAP - Federal Financial Analyst Accounting and Reporting will provide support for federal financials using the IRS’ Federal SAP financial management system, design federal accounting practices, and implement accounting and reporting requirements in various SAP modules.

Responsibilities
Providing daily support for federal financials using IRS’ Federal SAP financial management system to include reporting and federal generally accepted accounting principles, techniques, and practices
Designing and implementing federal accounting practices, business processes, and reporting for appropriations, purchasing, travel, payroll, intergovernmental transactions, and miscellaneous federal funds in SAP
Developing and implementing accounting and reporting requirements in several SAP modules including: financial integration, funds mgmt.., asset accounting, cost accounting, and business warehouse
Posting models and master data in SAP, designing solutions for defects, designing user roles that enhance internal controls, data quality control, user support and training, and system assurance testing
Enabling financial analysts in the execution of their jobs and providing technical support to ensure the successful and timely submission of reporting requirements, particularly quarterly and end of Fiscal Year
Qualification
Required
BS in Accounting
10+ years' experience with federal financials to include reporting and federal generally accepted accounting principles, techniques, and practices
5+ years' experience designing and implementing federal accounting practices, business processes, and reporting for appropriations, purchasing, travel, payroll, intergovernmental transactions, and miscellaneous federal funds in SAP
5+ years of experience designing and implementing accounting and reporting requirements in several SAP modules including: financial integration, funds mgmt.., asset accounting, cost accounting, and business warehouse
5+ years' experience with posting models and master data in SAP, designing solutions for defects, designing user roles that enhance internal controls, data quality control, user support and training, and system assurance testing
Preferred
Knowledge of the current IRS financial management system
